OBSERVATIONS IN BORACAY

Boracay is one of the best tourist spots in the world. Expecting many tourist and local are here to have a vacation. We are responsible for them, so make your guest be oriented with safety precautions. Like now, we are in a rainy season. It is possible to have typhoon with strong winds and thunderstorm.

Unless specifically designed to be lightning safe, small structures do little, if anything, to protect occupants from lightning. Many small open shelters on athletic fields, golf courses, parks, roadside picnic areas, schoolyards and elsewhere are designed to protect people from rain and sun, but not lightning. A shelter that does not contain plumbing or wiring throughout, or some other mechanism for grounding from the roof to ground is not safe. Small wooden, vinyl, or metal sheds offer little or no protection from indoor lightning and should be avoided during thunderstorms.

When I first came to Boracay, the only thing I always have with me is the sunblock. Yes, When you’re in Boracay Island, Philippines you need tons of sunblock to protect your skin from the damaging Ultra Violet Rays of the sun. Actual Boracay life photo

My friend Belle share her story, she stayed in Boracay almost a year. Every time she go to the long beach and have some gimmicks with friends she noticed stores selling different brands of sunblock. There are original ones formulated by dermatologist. Belle kept wondering why some foreign tourists likes staying under the sun even if it’s too hot.

Yeah, she knew that their main reason why tourist choose Boracay island to be their travel destination it’s because they love beach. So staying for long hours just to make their skin tan. They said Filipinos are lucky to have that tan color. Scientifically speaking, too much expose to sunlight is not good to our skin. It may cause skin cancer, sunburn etc. We don’t want that to happen. So we need to take care of ourselves.

At all ages, we are prone to acne, a skin disease. Crossing gender lines as well as national borders, it’s one of the most widespread medical conditions in the world. Yet there’s still no cure. But there is hope. While acne is not curable, it is treatable. You don’t need to search for acne treatment to have it treated. Here in Boracay, we will go outside everyday and then go swimming. Before and after, we need to clean our self like using of sun block. If you maintain that good skin, wear your favorite swimsuit and have self confident to stand up to show your flawless skin.

BORACAY BEACH

The most popular massage I ever had in Boracay is ” Hilot”. It was awarded as one of the world’s best SPA massage. In the layman’s term hilot in Filipino culture can cure fractures and heal cough, cold, flu.

I was amazed to witness a lot of tourist lying in the beach sun bathing while doing the Hilot Massage using the virgin coconut oil. At 350 pesos you got one hour full body massage that is ever relaxing.

In my research any form of massage can burn calories that shed off unwanted fats. So, if you do masage in the powdery white sand in Boracay no need for you to take Fenterdren to shed off unwanted fats. Just lying in the sand and keep walking the long beach can make you slim and healthy each day.

MY BORACAY PASALUBONG

My first visit to Boracay was memorable. I was amazed by the powdery white sand and I really enjoy the beach. Aside from swimming, there’s a lot of activities here. My mother, cousin and I decided to rent a boat for an island hopping.

Of course, I am so excited! We arrive first at crystal cove, we pass by the crocodile island and we did snorkeling. And for the last stop, at the Puka Beach. This is where locals gather the small puka shells for some of the jewelry that is sold on the island.

In manila, people keep on wearing a gold chain. A very expensive thing you can give to your special someone. Well, here in Boracay a puka shell bracelet, necklace or anklet. It can be a good souvenir or “pasalubong”. Simple but elegant, where you can really appreciate our beloved nature when you look for those things.
